Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of personal information associated with Makvix by following these steps:

1. Email makvixco@makvix.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.
2. Include the name, email address and phone number used with Makvix. If your request relates to WhatsApp, include the phone number in international format.
3. Briefly describe the Makvix service, account, order, form or conversation connected to the request.
4. State whether you want all eligible information deleted or only a particular category.

Please do not send a password, one-time passcode, full payment-card number or government identification document in the initial email.

To protect users from unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify control of the relevant email address or phone number. Verification may be completed through a reply from the registered email, a one-time code or another proportionate method.

We will not ask you to disclose an existing password or to send us a one-time code that was intended for signing in to another service.

Once your identity and request are confirmed, eligible information may include:

• Makvix account and profile information.
• Contact-form submissions, project enquiries and support tickets.
• Saved preferences and optional marketing choices.
• WhatsApp identifiers, stored conversation records and delivery metadata held in Makvix systems.
• Uploaded files and materials that are no longer required for an active service.
• Other personal information that is not subject to a lawful retention requirement.

Some information may not be deleted immediately or completely where retention is reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with tax, accounting, financial, regulatory or legal obligations.
• Keep invoices, payment records and proof of completed transactions.
• Detect fraud, protect system security, enforce agreements or resolve disputes.
• Preserve evidence required for a legal claim or lawful request.
• Maintain limited suppression records so that an opt-out request continues to be respected.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles. Retained information will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

If you interacted with Makvix through WhatsApp or another Meta service, your request will apply to information held directly in Makvix systems. Meta may independently retain information under its own terms and privacy policies.

Removing an app, blocking a WhatsApp business or changing Meta settings does not necessarily delete information previously stored by Makvix. Submit the deletion request described above so we can review our own records.

We normally acknowledge a complete request within seven business days. After identity verification, we aim to complete eligible deletion within 30 days. Complex requests, active disputes or legal retention duties may require additional time, in which case we will explain the reason where permitted.

When processing is complete, we will send confirmation to the verified contact channel used for the request.

Deleting account or project information may make it impossible to continue providing an active service, access previous orders, restore project history or provide support. We will identify significant consequences before completing a deletion request where reasonably possible.
