This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Makvix. It covers the Makvix website, ai.makvix.com, subscriptions, AI and software services, custom projects, digital products, hosting services and physical products sold by Makvix.

This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. A signed proposal, order form or service agreement may contain additional refund or cancellation terms for a specific purchase. Mandatory rights under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman always remain applicable.

Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service, whether delivery or activation has started, how much of the service has been used and whether Makvix has incurred non-recoverable third-party costs.

A refund may be approved where a charge was duplicated, a paid service was not delivered, a material technical issue caused by Makvix prevents use of the purchased service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, or a refund is required by applicable law.

• You may cancel a recurring subscription before the next billing date to stop future renewal charges.
• The current billing period is normally non-refundable after the subscription has been activated or used.
• An initial subscription payment may be refunded when requested within 7 calendar days of payment if the account has not been activated or materially used and no included usage credits have been consumed.
• If Makvix permanently fails to provide a paid subscription feature and cannot offer a reasonable workaround, we may provide a full or proportional refund for the affected undelivered period.

Charges for AI usage, messages, generated content, API consumption, automation runs or other metered resources are non-refundable once consumed. Unused prepaid credits may be considered for refund only when the related service was not activated, was unavailable because of a Makvix issue, or where required by law.

Third-party platform restrictions, policy decisions, account suspensions, telecom failures or outages outside Makvix control do not automatically create a refund entitlement. We will still review the circumstances fairly and refund any clearly undelivered Makvix-controlled portion where appropriate.

• Deposits become non-refundable once discovery, design, development, configuration, consulting or other agreed work has started.
• Milestone payments are non-refundable after the related stage has been delivered, approved or made available for review.
• If you cancel before work begins, Makvix may refund the payment after deducting payment-processing fees and any non-recoverable third-party costs already committed with your approval.
• If Makvix cannot deliver a material agreed portion of the project, the customer may receive a refund for the undelivered portion after accounting for completed work and approved expenses.

Digital products, source files, templates, licence keys, downloadable materials and account access are generally non-refundable once delivered, downloaded, activated or accessed. A refund or replacement may be provided if the item is materially defective, not as described or cannot be delivered, and Makvix cannot correct the issue within a reasonable time.

Domain registrations, SSL certificates, hosting plans, business email, app-store fees, licences, advertising spend and other third-party purchases are non-refundable once ordered or activated because those amounts are paid to external providers. If a bundled order includes a separate Makvix service that has not started, only the eligible Makvix-controlled portion may be refundable.

For a change-of-mind return, contact Makvix within 7 calendar days of delivery. The product must be unused, unopened where applicable, complete and in its original resalable packaging. Approved change-of-mind returns may exclude original delivery charges, and the customer is responsible for return delivery unless Makvix agrees otherwise.

If a product is defective, does not meet the stated specifications or is unsuitable for the agreed purpose, contact us within 15 days of receiving it and provide proof of purchase. Where the issue was not caused by misuse, the product may qualify for repair, replacement, return or refund without additional cost in accordance with applicable Oman consumer-protection requirements.

Refunds may be refused for products damaged by misuse, missing accessories or serial labels, activated licence items, customized products or items returned in a condition that prevents resale, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

A verified duplicate or incorrect charge will be refunded in full. If you believe a payment was unauthorized, contact Makvix and your bank immediately. We may request the Tap transaction reference and cooperate with Tap Payments or the issuing bank while the payment is investigated.

Makvix uses Tap Payments for online payment processing. Where a refund is approved for a Tap-paid transaction, Makvix will submit the refund against the original Tap charge. Depending on the original transaction and technical availability, a refund may be full or partial.

A refund approval by Makvix does not mean the funds will appear instantly. Settlement and posting are completed through Tap Payments, the relevant payment network and the customer's bank or card issuer. You can help us locate the transaction by providing the Makvix order or invoice reference and, where available, the Tap transaction reference.

Email makvixco@makvix.com with the subject Refund Request, or contact us at +968 76930400. Include:

• Your full name and company name, if applicable.
• The order, invoice, subscription or transaction reference.
• The payment date and amount.
• A clear explanation of the refund reason.
• Relevant screenshots, error details, delivery evidence or product photos.

We may request additional information needed to verify the payer, purchase and refund eligibility.

Makvix aims to review complete refund requests within 5 business days. For purchases paid online through Tap Payments, approved refunds are submitted through Tap Payments against the original charge and returned to the original payment method where supported. We do not normally refund to a different person, card or bank account.

Once Makvix submits an approved refund through Tap Payments, the time for the credit to appear depends on Tap, the payment network and your bank or card issuer. Makvix does not promise a fixed banking settlement time. Any non-returnable processing cost will only be deducted where permitted by law and clearly applicable to the request.

Please contact Makvix before starting a chargeback so we can investigate and try to resolve the issue promptly. Submitting false, duplicate or abusive disputes may lead to account restriction and recovery of reasonable costs, without limiting any lawful consumer right.

We may update this policy when our products, Tap Payments processing arrangements or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published here with a revised date. This policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and nothing in it limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
